INSTALLATION
MOUNTING GUIDELINES
• Mount on the windshield in a centered location that will not obstruct the view of the
driver and is within reach, so the buttons can be easily accessed.
• Do NOT mount behind windshield wipers, metal surfaces, ornaments, or mirrored
sunscreen glass, as these affect radar/laser signals.
Note: Tinted glass does not affect radar/laser signal reception.
• Mount the unit in a leveled position
• Avoid placing the unit in direct contact with windshield.
WINDSHIELD MOUNTING
• Attach the suction cups to the bracket.
• Push the bracket firmly onto the windshield.
• Attach the detector to the bracket and check the angle.
• Plug power into the cigarette lighter then to the detector.
DASHBOARD MOUNTING
To place the detector on the dashboard, find a location where the unit has a clear level view of
the road. Clean the dashboard and the lower part of the detector with damp fabric.
Remove paper backing from one side of the Velcro fastener.
Attach the pad to the dashboard at your chosen location and remove the other paper backing.
Attach the detector to the Velco fastener.
