All motherboards have standard mounting holes to fit different types of chassis make sure that the locations of all the mounting holes for both the motherboard and the chassis match although a chassis may have both plastic and metal mounting fasteners metal ones are highly recommended because they ground the motherboard to the chassis make sure that the metal standoffs click in or are screwed in tightly 22

Two gigabit ethernet ports lan1 and lan2 are located on the i o back panel on the motherboard in addition a dedicated ipmi lan is located above usb 0 1 ports on the back panel all of these ports accept rj45 cables please refer to the led indicator section for lan led information 37

Jbt1 is used to clear the cmos instead of pins this jumper consists of contact pads to prevent accidental clearing of the cmos to clear the cmos use a metal object such as a small screwdriver to touch both pads at the same time to short the connection 58
