• This shaber is not available for longer fabric lint.

• When charging keep the machine away from direct sunlight or sources of heat.

• Never use any adapter other than that supplied with the machine.

Instructions for charging the device

Charging the Battery

Before the machine can be used without a cord, the battery must be charged.

• Turn the device off.

• The machine is pre-charged ex works. Please charge up the device for 24 hours before

initial use.

• To charge up the device, insert the plug of the mains adapter into a 230 V /50 Hz socket

and connect the lead to the connection socket (7) directly on the device. The charging

control lamp (8) now lights up.The maximum length of the subsequent charge cycles is

approximately 8 hours. After this time it must be switched off and allowed to cool down

for 10 minutes. Please unplug the mains adapter.

• When fully charged the device has a maximum operating time of 15 minutes.

Useful tips regarding battery life

Battery life can be lengthened by paying attention to the following instructions:

• Wait until the battery is almost completely ﬂ at before recharging.

• We recommend that you discharge the battery completely every three months

and then recharge it (this takes approximately 8 hours).

• Do not leave the device connected to the mains for more than 24 hours, as this may

shorten the lifetime of the rechargeable batteries.

• Let the batteries run out completely before charging again.

• Charge the machine only with room temperature between 0 and +40°C.

 NOTE:

The lamp (8) does not give any indication of the charge level of the battery. The charging

lamp on the drive unit lights up when there is contact with the mains adapter.
