Operation and Performance
BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Removethescalesfromthepackaging.

Remove the battery protection (see “Battery
Replacement”).
OPERATION

Placethescalesonahard,levelsurface.Donotusethe
applianceoncarpetsoranysoftsurfaces.

Press the button(3)toswitchontheappliance.

Waituntilthedisplayshows„ ”.

Select the required weight unit (see “Weight Unit
Selection”).

When the weighing has been completed, press the
(3)buttonandholditforabout2secondstoswitchoff
theappliance.
WARNING INDICATORS
The battery must be replaced–„ ”willappearonthe
display.Thescaleswillswitchoffautomaticallyafterseveral
seconds.
Weight overload–thedisplaywillshow„
”.Remove
theiteminordernottodamagethescales.
Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 5000 g
(5 kg).

“–” will appear on the display when the tare
function is used or when the tared container or
another item is removed from the scales.
Description of functions
WEIGHING

Press the ,button(3)toswitchontheappliance.

Waituntilthedisplayshows„ ”.

Select the required weight unit (see “Weight Unit
Selection”).

Place the items that you wish to weigh on the metal
weighingplatform(Donotexceedthemaximumcapacityof
5000g!).
RESET (TARE)
Whentheapplianceison,andthedisplayshows„ ”,place
aplate,bowloranothercontaineronthescalesandpress
the ,button(3)toresetthescales.
The “TARE” symbol will only be shown if the
container is heavier than 600 g.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
Theappliancewillswitchoffautomaticallyifnooperationis
carriedoutforapprox.60seconds.
To maximize the life of batteries, it is
recommended to switch off the scales when
you have fi nished the operation.
WEIGHT UNIT SELECTION
Theappliancehasaweightunitselectionfunction.
Tochangetheunit,pressthe
conversionbutton(2)
untiltherequiredunitappearsonthedisplay.
