Prepare a slot in the lower part of door or window frame for the interconnecting hose location (see Figure 9).

Pass the interconnecting hose which contains the refrigerant tubing, cable and drain tube through a window or

door opening. Be sure not to subject the interconnecting hose to any over-stress, avoid sharp bends or forced

twisting. Before operation, close the window or door; use the suction pads if needed.

NOTE

a. If the air conditioner is to be used periodically in alternate rooms, it is recommended to cover the opening in the

door or window. Additional mounting kits are available from your local dealer.

b. When transporting the unit, make sure to keep it in vertical position (discharge grille on top). Also, when

removing outdoor unit, empty the water accumulated at the bottom by tilting to one side.
