Switching On
1. Place the scales on a at, smooth surface.
2. Press the ON/OFF button.
All segments briey appear on the display.
Select units
These scales measure in units of mass (g / lb:oz) as well as in
units of volume (ml / :oz).
Milk and water have different weights when they have the same
volumes. Therefore you can display milk and water separately
on these scales.
WEIGHT = Weight, MILK = Milk, WATER = Water
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly to select the required
measuring unit.
NOTE:
• The appliance starts in the last selected measuring unit.
• To select the correct measuring unit, please refer to the
above table “Display Indication”.
Weighing
1. Wait until the scales are on “0”.
2. Place the goods on the scale plate centered as far as pos-
sible.
3. The measurement is done when the display stops.
4. You may then read off the measurement.
Tare Function
If you would like to add a further ingredient to the rst ingredient
and then weigh it:
• Press the TARE button briey.
• The scales are reset to “0”.
• If you now place further ingredients on the scales their
weight is displayed.
Switching Off
NOTE:
With the automatic switch-off the scales turn off automatically
after approximately 120 seconds.
If you want to turn off the scale earlier, press and hold the ON/
OFF button for approx. 3 seconds.
Periods of non-usage
Batteries can leak and lose battery acid. If the appliance is not
used for long periods, remove the battery.
Cleaning
CAUTION:
• Do not immerse the appliance in water: the electronic
components can be damaged.
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Clean the device with a slightly moist cloth. Make sure that
no humidity or waters seeps into the device!
• Dry the device well after cleaning with a dry and soft cloth.

Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place.
