11.4.3.1 SNMPv1,2c Notication Recipient
The SNMP v1, v2c Recipient table contains the following elds:
Recipients IP Displays the IP address to which the traps are sent.
Notication Type Displays the type of notication sent. The possible eld values are:
Trap Indicates traps are sent.
Inform Indicates informs are sent.
Community String Displays the community string of the trap manager.
Notication Version Displays the trap type. The possible eld values are:
SNMP V1 Indicates that SNMP Version 1 traps are sent.
SNMP V2c Indicates that SNMP Version 2 traps are sent.
UDP Port Displays the UDP port used to send notications. The eld range is 1-65535. The default is 162.
Filter Name Indicates if the SNMP lter for which the SNMP Notication lter is dened.
Timeout Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) the device waits before resending informs. The eld range is 1-300.
The default is 15 seconds.
Retries Indicates the number of times the device resends an inform request. The eld range is 1-255. The default is 3.
Remove Deletes the currently selected recipient. The possible eld values are:
Checked Removes the selected recipient from the list of recipients.
Unchecked Maintains the list of recipients.
11.4.3.2 SNMPv3 Notication Recipient
The SNMPv3 Notication Recipient table contains the following elds:
Recipient IP Displays the IP address to which the traps are sent.
Notication Type Displays the type of notication sent. The possible eld values are:
Trap Indicates that traps are sent.
Inform Indicates that informs are sent.
User Name Displays the user to which SNMP notications are sent.
Security Level Displays the means by which the packet is authenticated. The possible eld values are:
No Authentication Indicates that the packet is neither authenticated nor encrypted.
Authentication Indicates that the packet is authenticated.
UDP Port Displays the UDP port used to send notications. The eld range is 1-65535. The default is 162.
Filter Name Includes or excludes SNMP lters.
Timeout Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) the device waits before resending informs. The eld range is 1-300.
