2. To avoid leakage of the electrolytic liquid
or danger of explosion, do not recharge,
heat or dismantle the batteries.
3. If the unit is not used for a long time, re-
move the batteries, in order not to dam-
age the components of the unit in case of
leakage of the electrolytic liquid.
EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY SOURCE
OF THE UNIT (AC SUPPLY 220 V)
When connecting the radio receiver to the
AC mains of 220 V, the battery supply will
switch off automatically. AC Power Jack
– is for connecting of the AC power supply
source of 220V.
Attention! Allowable supply voltage of the
unit is in the range of
180-240 V.
If the voltage exceeds the allowable level,
the operation of the unit will be unstable.
If the unit is not used for a long time, dis-
connect the power cord.
USING THE ANTENNA
АM-stations receipt
Receipt of АМ-stations is performed with
the help of the inner magnet antenna. You
can achieve the best receipt, by changing
the location of the radio receiver.
FM-stations receipt
Receipt of FM- stations is performed with
the help of the telescopic antenna (11). Ex-
tend the antenna. You can achieve the best
receipt, changing the length and angle of
the antenna.
Note: Due to the fact that different factors,
such as location of the radio receiver and
number of floors etc., affect the quality of
receipt, to get better receipt we recom-
mend locating the unit as close as possible
to the window.
Listening to the radio
1. Set the switch ON/OFF (12) to the ON
position.
2. Select the desired band, by setting the
band switch (2) to the FM1, FM2 or AM
position.
3. Rotate the TUNЕ (3) control for tuning to
the desired station.
4. Use the VOL control (5) to set the de-
sired volume level.
5. After you finish listening to the radio, set
the ON/OFF switch (12) to the OFF posi-
tion.
Setting the current time
1. While connecting the unit to the mains
(or inserting the batteries) the “12:00”
indication will appear on the display.
2. Press and hold the TIME SET (6) button.
Press the MIN (8) /HOUR (4) buttons to
set the current time.
3. If you want to know the current time in
the radio operation mode, set the ON/
OFF switch (12) to the OFF position, the
radio mode will switch off.
4. 12–hour time format is used in the unit.
The PM indication – means post meri-
diem time, the AM indication – means
ante meridiem time.
Setting the alarm activation time
1. When the unit is switched off (time dis-
play mode) press and hold the ALARM
(7) button, the symbol
and wake
up time “7: 00” (or the preliminary preset
alarm activation time) will be displayed.
2. Press and hold the ALARM (7) button,
set the hours and minutes of the alarm
time using the HOUR (4) and MIN (8)
buttons.
3. To check the alarm setting time, press
the ALARM (7) button.
Note: In the alarm setting time mode the
АМ indication – means ante meridiem
time, the РМ indication – means post
meridiem time.
Alarm functions
1. After setting the alarm time, set the alarm
