CoolAir SP950C Guarantee

Fit the fastening frame and the CoolAir SP950 parking cooler on the Mercedes Benz

Actros (SFTP) as follows:

➤ Insert and tighten the four M8 x 30 bolts, eight U washers M8 8.4 x 16 mm and

four M8 retaining nuts (fig. 1, page 3) in the mounting frame for the condenser

unit.

➤ Take out the four existing M8 screws (fig. 2 1, page 4)

➤ Undo the two screws (fig. 2 2, page 4) from the lower fastener of the side

spoiler.

➤ Position the fastening frame at the top of the bracket for the side spoiler and

slide underneath the bracket for the side spoiler at the bottom, i.e. between the

rear panel and side spoiler fastening.

➤ Attach the fastening frame using the four original M8 screws and the U washers

M8 8.4 x 20 mm (fig. 2 1, page 4) supplied. Apply locking fluid to do this (not

included in scope of delivery).

➤ Screw in both screws for the side spoiler again (fig. 2 2, page 4). Set the gap

between the driver's cab and side spoiler.

➤ Put the the four large M8 8.4 x 24 mm U washers as spacer discs onto the pro-

truding screws on the fastening frame (fig. 1 A, page 3).

➤ Place the condenser unit on the projecting bolts of the mounting frame and bolt

to the four U washers M8 8.4 x 16 mm and four M8 retaining nuts.

➤ Check that all bolts are still tight after travelling approximately 200 km.
