Rememberthat
speed
should be reduced
on humps
or
bumps and in
bad weatherconditions
(frost,
heavy
rain
or snow). Take
special
care on terrain which
might
reduce
the stability
of the
machine.
STARTING WORK
-
Check that the
body tipping lever
is
correctly
placed
in
the closed
position
(Fig.
4).
-
Check that the
brake levers
are
not
locked in
the
machine
parking
position.
-
Accelerate
the engine
(Fig.
1 n" 2).
Press
the red
clutch
lever
right
down and keep
it there
until work is
over.
TIPPING
THE BODY
Lock the
brake levers with
the hooks
provided
if
on
a slope
(Fig.
5).
-
Take
up
a
position
on
the
right
of the machine.
Push the
body tipping lever
down with
your
left
hand
(Fig.
6).
-
Take hold
of the
body handlebar
with
your
right
hand
and
pull
it
up.
Once the body has
tipped
up,
push
the handlebar
towards
the engine hard
until the body
engages
(do
not touch
the body
tipping lever
during this
procedure).
FINISHING
WORK
-
To
stop the machine,
reduce
speed
by operating
on
the throttle lever.
Release the red
clutch lever.
Pull both
brake levers,
engaging
the
toothed locking
device in
the highest
position
(Fig.
5).
-
To stop
the engine,
put
the throttle
lever in
the stop
position
(Fig.
1 n" 2).
RUNNING.IN
After
20 hours,
change
the engine
oil and
check that
there are no
oil leaks.
MAINTENANCE
Check
the force
applied by the
brakes
and if necessary
adjust the tension
using the registers
on
the
brake
levers
(Fig.
7).
Check
the tension
of the cable
of the red
clutch lever
and
adjust using the registrar
if it is
slack and
does
not
engage.
Oil the
cables
of the clutch
and brake levers
frequently.
