Supplied separately to be wired and installed on the evaporator water piping (by the customer). The
installationoftheflowswitchinmandatory.

Thekitiscompletedwithpressuregauge,safetyvalve,drainvalve.Themotorpumpisprotectedbyacircuit
breakerinstalledincontrolpanel.Thekitisassembledandwiredtothecontrolpanel.Thepipeandpumpare
protectedfromfreezingwithanadditionalelectricalheater.

Theinverterkitcanbeusedforthefollowingpurposes:
-Tuning the water flow during unit commissioning.
- Control the pump speed via external input from Builing Management System (BMS)
Forthisapplicationa0-10Vsignalforthepumpspeedmustbeprovidedfromtheplantmanageraccordingto
thespecificcontrolstrategyoftheplant.Thewatermustbewithintheminimumandmaximumvalueallowed
fortheunit(refertothe“Operatinglimit”chapter).Thechangeinwaterflowratemustnotbeexceedmore
than10%ofthedesignwaterflowrateperminute.
- Set a “thermostat off” pump speed. Providing the unit with the inverter kit for the on-board pump is
possible to manage two different water flow settings. A setting for water flow during the "Thermostat ON"
mode (when the chiller is actually providing cooling to the plant), and a set for the “thermostat off” mode
(when the plant load is satisfied and the compressors are waiting to start). This feature allows to achieve
energysavingonplantoperatingcostbyreducingthe speedofthepumpswhenthechillerhasreachedthe
setpoint.
Thankstothesavingonpumpingcost,thepaybacktimefortheInverterKitisapproximatelyoneyear.
