enhance hard disk performance by reading or writing more data during
each transfer.
PIO Mode
Use this item to set the PIO mode to enhance hard disk performance by
optimizing the hard disk timing.
DMA Mode
DMA capability allows the improved transfer-speed and data-integrity for
compatible IDE devices.
S.M.A.R.T.
Use this item to enable or disable the S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis,
and Reporting Technology) feature. Configuration options: [Disabled], [Auto],
[Enabled].
32-Bit Data Transfer
Use this item to enable 32-bit access to maximize the IDE hard disk data
transfer rate.

PCI Latency Timer
The default value is 32. It is recommended to keep the default value unless
the installed PCI expansion cards’ specifications require other settings.

- This motherboard is equipped with two types of cpu sockets you may choose to install either intel 775 pin cpu or intel 478 pin cpu into this motherboard however to avoid instability and damage to the system please do not install both of them into this motherboard important if you install a 775 pin cpu into this motherboard it is necessary to adjust the setting of j1 j6 j8 j14 j17 j18 and j21 jumpers by shorting pin1 and pin2 of all these 16 sets of jumpers these jumpers are set to support 478 pin cpu by shorting pin2 and pin3 by default please refer to the figure below for these jumpers location on the motherboard 11
