Operation
GB
Switching on the second element
(only for cooking zones with several circuits)
Two-circuit connection of the respective cooking zone can only be effected
after the corresponding cooking zone has been switched on.
1. Select the desired cooking level 1-9.
2. Switch on the second heating circuit with the
circuit activation key
.
The control lamp (dual circuit activation) will light up.
3. The outer heating circuit will be switched off when the
circuit activation
key
is pressed again.
The control lamp will go off.
Note
The activated heating circuits will automatically be deselected when the
cooking zone is switched off.
Lock / child safety device
The lock can be used to block operation and settings (e.g. power setting 4).
Only the ON/OFF button can be used to switch the hob off.
The lock can be activated both when the hob is switched on and when it is
switched off. An activated lock will remain activated even if the hob is
switched off! The lock hence also serves as a child safety device in order to
prevent the hob from being operated unintentionally or intentionally.
Activating the lock
1. Press the
lock button
until the buzzer sounds. The control lamp for
the lock will light up and go off after a few seconds. The lock has been
activated and the control sensors cannot be operated.
De-activating the lock
2. Press the
lock button
until the buzzer sounds. The control lamp for
the lock will go off and the lock will have been deactivated.
Deactivated lock: please note
If the ON/OFF button or any other button (apart from the lock button )
is pressed, a buzzer will sound and the control lamp for the lock will light up
briefly to remind the user that the lock has been activated.
