1 3 HM 127 REMOTE CONTROL MICROPHONE Lock functions The lock function electronically Display backlighting locks keys and switches to prevent accidental changes and function access from the mi crophone The function display and switches can be backlit for better vis ibility under low light conditions And the backlighting condi tion can be adjusted independently from the transceiver All keys switches and controllers on the transceiver are functional 0 Activating the lock function Push SQL while Push VOL DIM for 1 sec to enter backlight adjusting mode UH with number of backlight level appears in the channel name indicator pushing Push to adjust the backlight level H L to turn the lock function ON and OFF B appears Only PWR PTT H L SQL MONI VOL A V and SQL A V are functional COMM Appears when the lock function is in use The backlight level is adjustable between 0 lights OFF and 7 brightest For your reference Pushing A V while H L is pushed also adjusts backlight level No backlight level indication is available 0 Activating the all key lock function Monitor function Turn the power ON by pushing PWR turn while the all pushing key lock H L to The monitor function releases the noise squelch mute of the function ON and OFF B flashes Only PWR and PTT are func tional Flashes when the all lock function is in use microphone employed only An independent noise squelch is Push SQL MONI for 1 sec to activate the monitor func tion pnnEn flashes and audio is emitted Any key except A V cancels the monitor function 52 system
