SCANN 9 8 AUTO MEMORY WRITE SCAN Auto memory write scan operates in the sam programmed scan However when a signal is rec received frequency and time are automatically w memory channel in the 900 999 range M ch Scan edge freq 900 P1 or P2 When a Signa received y Scan edge P2 or P1 999 The starting channel for memory writing is scanning clears all memory channels in the 900 then writing starts from memory channel 900 or keeps programmed memory channel then sta from the lowest blank memory channel Once a frequency is written into a memory ch frequency is not rewritten during scan operation AUTO MEMORY WRITE SCAN OPERATION CAUTION When pushing and hold AUTO switch to start scanning the programm tents in the 900 999 memory channel range are 1 Set the programmed scan edge See p 47 Sectio 1 SETTING PROGRAMMED SCAN EDGES 2 Select the desired resume condition See p 46 S 9 1 3 SCAN RESUME CONDITION 3 Adjust the SQUELCH control to the threshold po 4 Enter the desired scan group number using a dig If you do not enter a scan group number the scan group is used AM MID IDS CH 1AUT0 WRITE SCÁÑ1 1 EDGE 1P1 108 000 00 MHz 1P2 135 975 00 MHz While operating auto memory write scan kHz 5 Push the AUTO switch to start auto mem scan The lowest blank memory channel in the 90 range appears When memory channels are programmed with blank channels the receiver automatical the programmed channels to lower memory numbers Scan does not activate when the programm edges are not programmed 6 To erase all memory channels in the 900 9 then start auto memory write scan push and AUTO switch 7 Adjust the SPEED control to the desired speed 8 To stop scanning push a SCAN switch PROG etc or a CRT function switch F 1 F The main dial also stops scanning NOTE Scanning stops if auto memory write scan writes frequencies up to memory channe
