17. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply every time after use and in case of damage.
18. In order to prevent dangerous situations, any repair of electrical appliances (for example, power
cord replacement) should be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel of an authorized service
center.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the iron for the first time remove any protective films or stickers.
Clean the soleplate (1) with a soft cloth.
Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage.
Each time before turning on or off the iron, set the temperature controller (8) to «0».
Before ironing, read the ironing instructions on the product label to determine the ironing
temperature.
Using the appliance
Always check garment label for ironing instructions before ironing garment.
If the ironing instructions are missing, then use the information below:
* Chemical fibred /synthetic;
** Nature fibred/silk/wool;
*** Nature fibred/cotton/linen.
Products with different types of finishes are recommended to iron only at low temperatures-
mode «*».
If the product consists of several types of fabric, choose the minimum temperature for these
components. If the product consists of 60% polyester and 40% cotton you ought to select Ironing
mode for synthetic fabrics.
