Do notuse vinegar for descaling! Avoid contact of the descaling liquid with

any part of the machine.

Do notpush the power button duringthe

descalingcycle.

If the beverage comes outslower thanusual (even in

droplets), or if it is cooler than usual or if the power button

is steady orange (descaling signal), the machine has to be

descaled.

Switch off the machine. If any, remove the water from the

water tank.

0.5 L

Mix 0.5liter freshdrinking water with the descaler in a

measuring cup. Pour the descalingsolution into the water

tank and insert the water tank into the machine.

Open the locking handle. Put the rinsing tool into the

capsule holder. Insert the capsule holder into the machine.

Close the locking handle. Place a large empty container

underneath the coffee outlet.

Switch off the machine. Press and holdthe power button for

at least 5 seconds until the power button blinks

alternatively green / orange.

STOP

Pushthe selection lever to the "HOT" position. The machine

descales in start-stop operation for approximately 2

minutes. The level bars go downprogressively from 7 to 5.

The lever comes back to the middle position.
