When using this device, always observe the basic safety rules:

• Use the instrument solely for the purposes for which it was designed and only in the manner

described in this application manual.

• This device is powered by batteries and mains. Therefore, it is subject to the same safety rules

as any other electrical appliances. Connect the power supply unit of the device only to the

mains with the appropriate voltage.

• Ensure that children do not use the device as a toy. The use of the device by children and

persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or persons who lack the knowledge

and experience necessary for the use of the device, is allowed only if the person responsible

for the safety of the above mentioned category of users instructs them about the safe use of

the device and controls their actions, and this category of users is aware of the risks associated

with the use of the device.

• Ensure that all instrument parts, electrodes, wiring, accessories, power supply are in good

condition before use. Use only the original accessories included. If a defect or malfunction is
