Initialize the logical disk:

This function is used to initialize the internal data space of the disk so that it can be recognized and used by

the operating system.

As shown in Figure 6-123, select the disk to be initialized on the VD Mgmt interface and press F2.



Enter the interface shown in Figure 6-124 and select Initialization->Start FGI.



BGI: Backgroud Initialization, background initialization, first initialize part of the RAID space for writing

data, and the remaining space is initialized in the background.



FGI: Full Groud Initialization, full disk initialization, initialize all the space of the RAID, and write data

after the initialization is completed.
