Switching On and Off and Changing Operating Modes

f Do not point the laser beam at persons or animals and do not

look into the laser beam yourself, not even from a large dis-

tance.

f Do not leave the switched on measuring tool unattended and

switch the measuring tool off after use. Other persons could be

blinded by the laser beam.

– To switch on the measuring tool, press the operating mode button

– Press operating mode button 2 as often as required until the

requested operating mode is set.

LED 1 Operating Condition

Lights up green Measuring tool switched on and within the

self-levelling range

Lights up red Measuring tool in manual operation

Lights up red and

laser beam flashes

Measuring tool not within the self-levelling

range

Flashing Batteries low;

measuring tool still operative, but laser beams

becoming weaker
