Store the power tool in a dry and high or
locked location out of reach of children.
Before storing for longer than a few
days, always empty the fuel tank. See
chapter "Storing the machine" in this
instruction manual.
Store fuel in an approved and properly
labeled safety-type canister only. Take
care when handling gasoline! For health
and safety reasons, avoid direct contact
with the skin and avoid inhaling fuel
vapor!
Mounting the Hose Clamps and Pleated
Hose
N Push the hose clamp(1) (with
retainer for throttle cable) onto the
elbow(3).
N Push the pleated hose(2) over the
elbow(3).
N Push the hose clamp (1) onto the
pleated hose (2) – screw boss
facing down.
N Secure the hose clamp(1) with the
screw(4).
N Push the hose clamp(5) (without
retainer for throttle cable) onto the
blower tube (6).
N Push the blower tube(6) into the
pleated hose(2).
N Push the hose clamp(5) onto the
pleated hose(2).
N Line up the hose clamp(5) and
blower tube(6) – as shown.
N Secure the hose clamp(5) with the
screw(7).
