TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION

Fing leak Tube is not joined ghtly Remove and rejoin the tube

Drain saddle leak Drain saddle is not installed

properly

Reinstall drain saddle as described in paragraph

4.2 in this manual

Pre-lter sump leak O-ring seal is lacking or misaligned Check that the O-ring seal is properly aligned in the

groove inside sump

Sump is not joined ghtly Tighten the sump ll snug

Water runs too slowly from

the faucet or slows down sub-

stanally a few seconds aer

the faucet is opened

Water supply pressure too low This RO system requires at least 3 bar to funcon

properly. If necessary, install a pressure booster

pump or consult a plumber

Pre-lter cartridges are clogged Replace pre-lter cartridges

Membrane is clogged Measure permeate owrate by closing tank valve

6 and opening faucet 3. Use a measuring cup to

check if the me it takes to produce 1 L drinking

water is as follows:

– 8 minutes with 50 gpd membrane;

– 5-6 minutes with 75 gpd membrane;

– 4 minutes with 100 gpd membrane.

If it took twice as long or more to produce 1 liter

of water, the membrane may need to be replaced

(refer to the store where you bought this product)

A tube is kinked Straighten the tube

Pressure tank is deated Pressure in the empty tank should be 0.4-0.6 bar

(6-9 psi). Charge the tank to the above pressure

High noise

Air in the auto shut o valve The air will go away by itself with connued

operaon of the system

Water supply pressure too high Check your water supply pressure. If necessary,

install a pressure regulator or refer to a plumber
