Change system to normal mode (page 34).

Note:

Building the RAID array will take approximately 10 hours per TB. File transfers will be slower during this period.

While the “RAID ARRAY x Resyncing” message is displayed on the LCD screen, do not turn o the TeraStation. If

you turn it o, the conguration process will start over.

The conrm operation screen will appear. Enter the number shown in the [Conrmation Number] eld within 60

seconds, and click [Apply].

Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

You have now set up a RAID 5 array. Refer to page 40 to congure a hot spare with the remaining drive. Turn to page 16 to create a shared folder.

Click the array you want to congure.

1 Select [RAID5].

2 Click [Create Raid Array].

Select hard disks (3 of them) to use in RAID5.

• Use in RAID5 mode (3 hard drives)

Click [System] - [Storage] - [RAID Array ] in the Web Admin.
