Useful Functions
RAID Scanning
A RAID Scanning checks your TeraStation’s RAID 1, 5 or 10 array and automatically xes any problems it nds. If you’re
using a RAID array, it’s recommended that you perform regular RAID scans.

Notes:
• Check [Begin Immediate RAID Scan] and click [Save} to immediately initiate RAID scanning
• To stop a RAID scan, click [Abort RAID Scanning].
RAID Scanning is now congured.

Click [Enable].

Select a schedule for RAID Scanning.
NOTE:
Check [Shutdown] to automatically shut down the TeraStation
whenever a RAID error occurs.

Click [Save].

Click [System] - [Storage] - [RAID Scanning] in the TeraStation’s Web
Admin.

Click [Modify Settings] under [RAID Scanning].
