Initialization in the Web Admin

In the Web Admin, you can initialize the following settings, including things that are not initialized from the reset button.

TeraStation Name, Description, NTP Settings, Workgroup Settings, Network Services, Shared Folders Settings, USB Disk Settings,

RAID Scanning, Timer ON/OFF, Upon restore, Restrictions on Shared Folders, User Settings, User/Group, Notication Settings,

Synchronization with UPS, Backup Settings, Admin password, Network Settings (IP Address, Subnet Mask and etc.), Time Machine,

Web Access, DFS, DirectCopy, NFS, TeraSearch, Alert Sound Settings, Front Panel Settings, Language, Syslog, PrintServer

Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

Notes:

• To disable resetting the admin password from the reset button, navigate to [System] - [Restore/Format] and select [Keep

current admin password]. Click [Apply].

• If you disable resetting the admin password from the reset button, you can no longer congure the TeraStation if you

forget the password. Write down your password and keep it in a safe place.

Click [Restore TeraStation].
