Important safeguards

Thank you for choosing home active acoustic system ES-AS520a. Before attempting to

connect and/or operate this home active acoustic system 5.1 CH, please read the

following instructions and keep this manual for future reference.

Warning: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this

apparatus to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids,

such as vase, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Caution!

Ø Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, build-in cabinet or in another confined

space. Ensure the unit is well ventilated. To prevent risk of electric shock of fire

hazard due to overheating, ensure that curtains and any other materials do nor

obstruct the ventilation vents.

Ø Do not obstruct the unit’s ventilation closing with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains,

and similar items.

Ø Do not place sources of naked flames, such as lighted candles, on the unit.

Ø Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight.

Ø Keep the apparatus away from electrical noise generating devices and do not put

this product on dusty, moist, high temperature and vibration places.

Ø Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.

Ø Please confirm whether all kinds of cords have been well connected before

switching on the power.

Ø Please turn the volume knob of amplifier to the lowest before switching off and on

the power. Otherwise, this might damage the amplifier and speakers.

Ø Pull the plug out from the outlet if not using this player for a long time or at the

weather of lightening flash.

Ø Do not place heavy objects onto the top of this unit.

Ø Dispose of batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.

Voltage: use current source with voltage over the range 220 V, 50 Hz, otherwise grid

overload may arise, which can entail fire. Don’t use constant-current source. Do not

overload wall outlets and make extension cords as this can result in the risk of fire or

electric shock

Supply-line cord protection: make sure that the cord is right connected and does not

have any damage. Incorrect attachment and damage of cord may cause fire and

electrical shock.

Service: do not try to eliminate breakages by your own. Should the sound is out, the

indicator does not light, the smoke appears or any other troubles take place, which were

not mentioned in this manual, please, call your dealer or service center.

Warning:

Do not open covers and do not repair yourself. Refer servicing to qualified

personnel.
