t Unplayable disc types and formats are as follows:

SVCD (Super Video CD), CD-ROM, CD-I (CD-I

MPEG4/DivX*/FLAC/MKV recorded on CD-R/RW
t Discs that are not round.
t Discs with coloring on the recording surface or
discs that are dirty.
t Recordable/Rewritable discs that have not been
nalized.
t 3 inch discs. Attempting to insert these discs using
an adapter may cause a malfunction.
* Only for KW-V420BT Region 1/KW-V320BT Region 1/KW-V220BT
Region 1/KW-V120BT.
DualDisc playback
The Non-DVD side of a “DualDisc” does not comply
with the “Compact Disc Digital Audio” standard.
Therefore, the use of the Non-DVD side of a DualDisc
on this product cannot be recommended.
Playing Recordable/Rewritable discs
t This unit can recognize a total of 5 000 les and
250 folders (a maximum of 999 les per folder).
t Use only “nalized” discs.
t This unit can play back multi-session discs;
however, unclosed sessions will be skipped while
playing.
t Some discs or les may not be played back due to
their characteristics or recording conditions.
About data stored in the connected
USB device/iPod/iPhone/Android

iPod/iPhone, Android, and USB mass storage class
devices while using this unit.

Notes on using a USB device:
t This unit may not play back les in a USB device
properly when using a USB extension cable.
t USB devices equipped with special functions such
as data security functions cannot be used with the
unit.
t Do not use a USB device with 2 or more partitions.
t Depending on the shape of the USB devices and
connection ports, some USB devices may not be
attached properly or the connection might be
loose.
t This unit may not recognize a memory card
inserted into a USB card reader.
t When connecting with a USB cable, use a USB 2.0
cable.
t The maximum number of characters (when the
characters are 1 byte):
Folder names: 50 characters
File names: 50 characters
t Avoid using the USB device if it might aect
driving safety.
t Do not pull out and connect the USB device
repeatedly while “Reading” is shown on the
screen.
t Electrostatic shock at connecting a USB device
may cause abnormal playback of the device. In this
case, disconnect the USB device then reset this
unit and the USB device.
t Operation and power supply may not work as
intended for some USB devices.
t Do not leave a USB device in the car, or expose to
direct sunlight or high temperatures to prevent
deformation or damage to the device.
