2. GETTING STARTED

2.1 Unpacking and Inspection

After receiving the bar code printer, carefully inspect the device and its

packaging. The printer is specially packaged to withstand damage in shipping. In

case of evident damage, contact the carrier directly to specify the nature and

extent of damage. Please retain the packaging materials in case you need to

reship the printer.

2.2 Equipment Checklist

 One printer unit

 One paper core for ribbon take up spindle

 One quick installation guide

 One power cord

 One centronics interface cable

 One 3” paper core adapter

 One Windows labeling software/Windows driver CD disk

 One 1” core label roll fixing tab

Separately purchased items may also be included. These additional items may

include:

 Cutter module

 Peeler kit module (included peel sensor)

 Stand-alone LCD keyboard (KP-200, KU-007 series)

 Memory module

 Internal Ethernet print server

 External 802.11b/g wireless print server
