If you want the robot to move across two parallel cables, they may not lie with a distance

that exceeds 5 mm. However, it will be necessary to place an obstacle (rock, pipe, if

required) on position A (see picture) to ensure that the robot does not just move around in

a circle.

Note: Position A must be a flat area and may not be an incline.

There must be a flat area of at least 1 x 1 m around position A.

Remember, when laying boundary cable around the flower beds, it is important to

remember how the flowers and plants change during the year, so that at all times there is

space for the robot lawnmower to pass by the flower bed without damaging the plants.

Garden ponds and swimming pools

Obviously, the robot lawnmower cannot be immersed in water.

If your garden pond or swimming pool does not have a high edge, as shown in the

illustration, it must be cordoned off using the boundary cable, or alternatively, a fence must

be installed around the pond or swimming pool.

If you choose to use boundary cable to protect your swimming pool, it is important that the

distance to the water edge is increased from the normal 30 cm to 1 m, to prevent the robot

from moving over the edge and falling into the water.
