The first chapter provides a checklist of the main components included with the serv er system and describes the main features of the x10dri x10dri t serverboard and the sc825tq r740lpb chassis 2
The superserver 6028r tr trt is a high end server based on the sc825tq r740lpb 2u rackmountable chassis and the x10dri x10dri t dual processor serverboard 2
This chapter describes the steps necessary to install the superserver 6028r tr trt into a rack and check out the server configuration prior to powering up the system if your server was ordered without processor and memory components this chapter will refer you to the appropriate sections of the manual for their installation 2
This manual is written for professional system integrators and pc technicians it provides information for the installation and use of the superserver 6028r tr trt installation and maintainance should be performed by experienced technicians only 2

Gently press down on the dimm module until it snaps into place in the slot 33
Insert each dimm module vertically into its slot pay attention to the notch 33

During the post power on self test routines which are performed at each system boot errors may occur 69
Fatal errors will not allow the system to continue with bootup procedure if a fatal error occurs you should consult with your system manufacturer for possible repairs 69

Non fatal errors are those which in most cases allow the system to continue to boot the error messages normally appear on the screen 69
