Norpe EUROMAX 195-M-ED-EC-HE BG0088 [9/106] Operation
Check the voltage and size of the fuse required from the rating plate fixed to the cabinet. The
supply socket must be earthed. Fuse ratings for different types of plugs are presented in the
following table:
PLUG TYPE
16A Euro Schuko
13A BS 1363
16A CEE "Commando"
32A CEE "Commando"
2x16A Euro Schuko
2x13A BS 1363
3x16A CEE 3 Phase
No other appliances may be connected to the same fuse. The electrical connections for the
cabinet are shown in the wiring diagram in the plastic wallet attached to the side of the electrical
terminal box. Always replace the wiring diagram after use.
All electrical connections must be carried out by approved and qualified personnel
and comply with all IEE and local regulations. Failure to do so could result in
personal or fatal injury.
WARNING
By default, the power cable of Visio is located on top of the cabinet.NOTE
4. Operation
The cooling is achieved by a fan evaporator system. The evaporator is located at the bottom of
the cabinet's tray. The cold air is blown to the shelves through the perforated back wall and
through the cooling cell in the top corner.
The cabinet is equipped with an electronic controller. In case the pressure rises to high, for
example because of dirt in the condenser, the controller stops the machine from running and
shows an error message (HA2).
On Visio, there is no separate switch for cabinet lights. The lights are controlled by a button
located on top left of the controller's display panel. Please see the picture on chapter Control
device.
For more information on the control system, please see the corresponding chapters.
4.1. Starting up
1. Connect the plug to the supply socket.
The compressor and fans start operating.
2. Wait for 90 minutes or until the desired temperature is reached.

4.2. Loading cabinet
Position the products carefully.
Do not exceed the load limit. The maximum load on the shelves is 100 kg
per metre.
Do not place products so that they protrude over the front edge of the shelf
or obstruct the inlet grid.
An unobstructed space of at least 20 mm must be left between the shelves
and the top plate of the cabinet. Products must not be placed in front of
the inlet and outlet grids and must not protrude over the front edges of the
shelves. Improper loading of the cabinet will disrupt the air flow and raise
the temperature of products in the cabinet.
See figures 2 and 3 on the inside cover.
Do not place goods on top of the cabinet.
The cabinet is not designed to cool down products but to maintain
them at the temperature at which they are placed in the cabinet.
Food products warmer than the specified temperature should
not be placed in the cabinet.
NOTE
4.3. Setting operating thermostat
The operating thermostat for the cabinet is located in the terminal box inside the machinery
compartments. The lid to the machinery compartment is fixed with a spring. The thermostat is
preset to the correct temperature at the factory.
4.4. Control device
Cabinet controller automates cabinet defrosting by means of a thermostat and temperature
sensor.
The type of the control device depends
on the cabinet. All features are not
available on every cabinet.
NOTE
4.4.1. Alarms
In normal status, the display shows cabinet
temperature.
