b. keyboard

c. hard drive assembly

d. base cover

e. battery

6. Follow the procedure in After Working Inside Your computer.

Removing the speakers

1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2. Remove the:

a. battery

b. base cover

c. hard drive assembly

d. keyboard

e. palmrest

3. To remove the speakers:

a. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board [1].

b. Lift and remove the left speaker from the computer [2].

c. Release the speaker cable from the routing channels.

d. Lift and remove the right speaker from the computer [2].

Installing the speakers

1. Place the speakers on both slots on the computer.

2. Route the speaker cable to align it through the routing channels.

3. Connect the speaker cable to the connector on the system board.

4. Install the:

a. palmrest

b. keyboard

c. hard drive assembly
