steamer in the process. When the 30 minutes descaling process is over, unplug the steamer

from the mains, wait for the appliance to cool down, and empty the water tank of the descal-

ing solution. Rinse the water tank several times after descaling and leave to dry.

5. Keep the appliance in dry indoor rooms. Keep away from direct sunlight. Place the steam

bowls in reverse order into each other in order to save space during storage.

6. Bowls (1) (2) (3), steamer lid (4), removable bowl shelves (5), drip bowl (6) can be washed in

the dishwasher.

DIRECTIONS AND HINTS FOR STEAM COOKING

1. Steam cooking can take more time than other cooking processes because of the relatively

lower temperature.

2. If you want to cook food products with diﬀerent cooking times at the same time, place the

products longest to cook in the bottom bowl. It is where the cooking temperature is the

highest.

3. It is recommended to cook all food product pieces of the same size. This will ensure that all

portions of the same food product are uniformly done.

4. Use clean potable water for reﬁlling the water tank. Do not add any condiments or salt. Sea-

son the food once you have steam cooked it.

5. The liquid collected in the drip bowl can be reused to cook other dishes (e.g. sauces or soups).

6. Never steam cook frozen meat, frozen seafood, etc. These products must be thawed ﬁrst.
