toIP54andcapabletoworktoambienttemperaturesof-20°Cto+65°C.
•Thecondenserfansshallhaveasastandardathermallyprotectionbyinternalthermalmotorprotectionand
protectedbycircuitbreakerinstalledinsidetheelectricalpanelasastandard.
RefrigerantcircuitTheunitshallhaveoneortwoindependentrefrigerantcircuitsandonevariableelectrical
frequencydriverpercompressor(Inverter).
•Thecircuitshallincludeasstandard:electronicexpansiondevicepilotedbyunit’smicroprocessorcontrol,
compressorsuctionanddischargeshut-offvalves,liquidlineshut-offvalve,economizercircuitwithelectronic
expansionvalve,sightglasswithmoistureindicator,replaceablefilterdrier,chargingvalves,highpressure
switch,highandlowpressuretransducers,oilpressuretransducerandinsulatedsuctionline.Condensation
controlTheunitswillbeprovidedwithanautomaticcontrolforcondensingpressurewhichensuresthe
workingatlowexternaltemperaturesdownto-……………°C,tomaintaincondensingpressure.
•Thecompressorautomaticallyunloadswhenabnormalhighcondensingpressureisdetected.Thistoprevent
theshutdownoftherefrigerantcircuit(shutdownoftheunit)duetoahigh-pressurefault.
ReducedSoundunitconfigurations(onrequest)Thecompressorshallbeconnectedwithunit’smetalbase
framebyrubberantivibrationsupportstopreventthetransmissionofvibrationstoallmetalunitstructure,in
ordertolimittheunitnoiseemissions.Thechillershallbeprovidedwithanacousticalcompressorenclosure
(accordingtotheversion).Thisenclosureshallberealizedwithalight,corrosionresistingaluminumstructure
andmetalpanels.Thecompressorsound-proofenclosureshallbeinternallyfittedwithflexible,multi-layer,
highdensitymaterials.
Hydronic kitoptions(onrequest)Thehydronicmoduleshallbeintegratedinthechillerchassiswithout
increasingitsdimensionsandincludesthefollowingelements:centrifugalpumpwithmotorprotectedbya
circuitbreakerinstalledincontrolpanel,waterfillingsystemwithpressuregauge,safetyvalve,drainvalve.
•Thehydronicmoduleshallbeassembledandwiredtothecontrolpanel.
•Thewaterpipingshallbeprotectedagainstcorrosionandfreezingandinsulatedtopreventcondensation.
•Achoiceoftwopumptypesshallbeavailable:
-in-linesinglepump
-in-linetwinpumps.
TheunitshouldbeabletooperateinPrimaryonlysystemwithtwo-waysvalveonterminalswith
VariablePrimaryFlowcontrolstrategy(availableasoptiononrequest).
Master/SlavetheunitshellbeabletooperateinMaster/Slavemodeinordertobeconnectedwithother
similarunit(upto4).Themasterunitshallmanagetheslavesunitsconnectedinseriesonthehydraulicplant
withtheaimofoptimizetherunninghoursofeachcompressorandtobalancetheloadbetweentheunits.
Electrical control panelPowerandcontrolshallbelocatedinthemainpanelthatwillbemanufacturedto
ensureprotectionagainstallweatherconditions.
•TheelectricalpanelshallbeIP54and(whenopeningthedoors)internallyprotectedagainstpossible
accidentalcontactwithliveparts.
•Themainpanelshallbefittedwithamainswitchinterlockeddoorthatshutsoffpowersupplywhenopening.
•Thepowersectionwillincludecompressorsandfansprotectiondevices,fansstartersandcontrolcircuit
powersupply.
ControllerThecontrollerwillbeinstalledasstandardanditwillbeusedtomodifyunitset-pointsandcheck
controlparameters.
•Abuilt-indisplaywillshowschilleroperatingstatusplustemperaturesandpressuresofwater,refrigerant
andair,programmablevalues,set-points.
•Asophisticatedsoftwarewithpredictivelogic,willselectthemostenergyefficientcombinationof
compressors, EEXV and condenser fans to keep stable operating conditions to maximize chiller energy
efficiencyandreliability.
•Thecontrollerwillbeabletoprotectcriticalcomponentsbasedonexternalsignalsfromitssystem(suchas
motortemperatures,refrigerantgasandoilpressures,correctphasesequence,pressureswitchesand
evaporator).Theinputcomingfromthehighpressureswitchcutsalldigitaloutputfromthecontrollerinless
than50ms,thiswillbeanadditionalsecurityfortheequipment.
•Fastprogramcycle(200ms)foraprecisemonitoringofthesystem.
•FloatingpointcalculationssupportedforincreasedaccuracyinP/Tconversions.
