Enhancing the Sound

Eects

In addition to reverb, various other eects can be applied to the selected sound, altering the tonal character and

feeling of the instrument. As with reverb, some sound types enable certain eects automatically in order to enhance

tonal quality. The CN35 digital piano features thirteen dierent eect types.



Eect types

Eect type Description

Chorus Layers a slightly detuned version of sound over the original, thus enriching its tonal character.

Classic Chorus Similar in principle to Chorus, but intended for vintage electric piano sounds.

Stereo Delay Add an echo eect to the sound, playing through both speakers (stereo) simultaneously.

Ping Delay Adds a ‘ping pong’ echo eect to the sound, giving the impression that is ‘bouncing’ from left to right.

Triple Delay Similar in principle to Ping Delay, but with an additional centre echo.

Tremolo Continuously varies the volume at a constant speed, adding a vibrato type eect to the sound.

Classic Tremolo Similar in principle to Tremolo, but intended for vintage electric piano sounds.

Phaser Applies a cyclic phase change to the sound, giving the impression that the sound is moving.

Rotary 1/2/3

Simulates the sound of a rotary speaker commonly used with vintage electronic organs.

* The soft pedal can be used to alternate the speed of the rotary simulation between ‘Slow’ and ‘Fast’ eect modes.

Phaser + Amp Phaser with a vintage electric piano speaker eect applied.

Auto Pan + Amp

Alternates the sound output from left to right across the stereo eld using a sine wave with vintage electric

piano speaker eect applied.

Press the EFFECTS button to turn eects on/o.

The LED indicator for the EFFECTS button will turn on to indicate

when eects are in use, and the current status will briey be

shown in the LCD display.

2. Changing the Eects type menu

Press and hold the EFFECTS button.

The eect type screen will be shown in the LCD display.

Press the

VALUE buttons to cycle through the dierent

eect types.

To exit the eects type screen and return to normal playing

mode, press the EFFECTS button.

* Eect type is independent for each sound variation.

* Any changes made to the eect type, or on/o status will remain until

the power is turned o.

* Preferred eects settings can be stored to a Registration memory for

convenient recall. Please refer to page 34 for more information.

Delay’, press the VALUE

button twice.

Для включения/выключения эффектов нажмите кнопку

EFFECTS.

Светодиод кнопки EFFECTS загорается, показывая, что функция

эффектов активна, а ее текущее состояние на короткое время

отображается на дисплее.

Нажмите и задержите кнопку EFFECTS.

На дисплее отображается тип эффекта.

Пример: Чтобы сменить эффект "Chorus" на "Stereo Delay",

два раза нажмите кнопку VALUE .

Помимо реверберации, можно назначать и другие эффекты, изменяющие тональные характеристики выбранного

тембра. Как и в случае с реверберацией, некоторые тембры воспроизводятся с уже включенными эффектами. Цифровое

пианино CN35 предлагает 13 типов эффектов.

Тип Описание

Chorus Подмешивает к исходному звуку его же слегка расстроенную копию, тем самым обогащая общее звучание.

Classic Chorus Тот же принцип, что и для Chorus, но используется для тембров винтажного электропианино.

Stereo Delay Добавляет к исходному звуку эффект эха, воспроизводимый по двум аудиоканалам одновременно (стерео).

Ping Delay Эффект эха по аналогии с пинг-понгом, "прыгающий" слева направо.

Triple Delay Тот же принцип, что и в случае с Ping Delay, но с дополнительным эффектом эха в центре.

Tremolo Регулярные колебания громкости с заданной скоростью. Дополняет звук эффектом вибрато.

Classic Tremolo Тот же принцип, что и для Tremolo, но используется для тембров винтажного электропианино.

Phaser Циклические изменения фазы сигнала, образующие эффект движения звука.

Rotary 1/2/3

Имитирует звук вращающегося динамика, который используется в винтажных электроорганах.

* Для переключения скорости вращающегося динамика ("быстро"-"медленно") можно использовать левую педаль.

Phaser + Amp Эффект Phaser в сочетании с эффектом звучания динамиков винтажного электропианино.

Auto Pan + Amp

Перемежающийся звук в левом и правом каналах в сочетании с эффектом звучания динамиков винтажного

электропианино.

Для перехода в циклическом порядке от одного эффекта к

другому пользуйтесь кнопкой VALUE  или .

Чтобы покинуть экран для выбора типа эффектов и вернуться

к нормальному режиму работы, нажмите кнопку EFFECTS.

* Тип эффекта не зависит от тембра.

* Состояние функции (вкл./выкл.) и выбранный типа эффекта

сохраняются до выключения питания инструмента.

* Настройки эффектов можно сохранять в памяти инструмента для

быстрого вызова в дальнейшем. Дополнительную информацию см.

на стр. 34.
