Systems featuring a heat pump combined with tra-
ditional boiler are addressed to the renovation mar-
ket and/or to already existing networks equipped
with radiators.
According to statistical data, the heating season lasts
for about 7 months a year while a heat pump can satisfy
the overall installation needs for about 6 months. This
results in up to 80% fossil fuel economy.

Systems featuring a heat pump combined with tradi-
tional boiler guarantee the highest operating perform-
ances; they exploit the principle of water stratificaiton
in the storage tank.
The peculiar self-adapting regulation technology
that is a standard part of the equipment’s electronic
management system allows an autonomous and
automatic functioning of the installation.
Moreover, by exploiting the highest energy efficiency of
the two heat generators (i.e. heat pump and traditional
boiler), the electronic management system selects
which device is to be employed from time to time.

traditional heating purposes represent the most flexible
solution within a renovation context, since they need very
few changes. An appropriate water rate is to be supplied
to both the heat pump and terminal units (which shall not
be equipped with thermostatic valve).

functioning of the installation. Moreover, by exploiting the

The non-return valve guarantees appropriate water cir-
culation even when the heat pump is not operating.
