Karcher PC 100 M2 BIO [21/244] Maintenance and care
– 7
Î Set the "Pump ON/OFF" switch to
"OFF/0".
Note
To achieve the degradation of the microbes
in the detergent liquid, the temperature of
the detergent liquid must be maintained
constant at approx. 38 °C. Hence, if possi-
ble, there should be uninterrupted power
supply to the device even during operation-
al breaks (such as in the night, on the
week-ends or during holidays).
If there is power failure for a longer period
of time, then new microbes need to be add-
ed to the detergent solution.
Î Replace filter mat (see section "Mainte-
nance and Care/ Monthly")
Î If there is interruption in power supply
over several weeks, then pour an addi-
tional bottle of RM microbe solution into
the device.
Î Check whether the indicator lamp "Refill
detergent solution" glows.
If the indicator lamp glows, pour 20 liter
detergent fluid RM PC-BIO into the ba-
sin.
Note
Do not overfill the container. The maximum
fill level has been reached when the indica-
tor lamp "Refill detergent" switches off.
If the indicator lamp "Refill detergent"
glows, then the heating of the detergent is
switched off. The degradation perform-
ance of the microbe will reduce.
Î Clean small parts and shavings sieve.
Î Remove rinsing floor.
Î Remove filter mat.
Î Insert new filter mat.
Î Hold the old filter mat over the new filter
mat and wring it out.
Î Please dispose off used filter mats ac-
cording to the local regulations for spe-
cial wastes (see "Instructions for
disposal").
Î Replace the rinsing floor.
Note
Dispose off used filter mats according to
the local regulations for waste containing
mineral oil.
If the filter mat is dirty only slightly, then the
changing interval can be stretched to two
months.

by hand and dispose off according to
the local regulations.
