CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning! Always switch the air humidifier off and
unplug it before maintenance works or cleaning.
Due to geographical factors, water quality may
vary from place to place. In some regions water is
hard and contains a large number of calcium and
magnesium ions. In addition, the use of bleach-
ing agents (for water purification) also increases
the water hardness. When such water is used to
humidify the air, the calcium and magnesium ions
are dispersed along with the «mist». Hard water
causes the appearance of mineral scale on the
«sprayer» (6) and on the water tank (2); it leads to
improper operation of the humidifier and appear-
ance of white deposits on interior objects. To
avoid this, it is necessary to clean the water tank
(2) and the «sprayer» (6) and to change water in
the tank (2) as often as possible.
Water tank
Clean the water tank (2) every 3 days. Water
should be changed more often. Do not leave the
water in the tank for more than 2 days.
Once a week wash the water tank (2) and the
«sprayer» (6) carefully with a neutral detergent
solution.
Then rinse with water carefully.
Add 5-10 drops of the detergent on the «sprayer»
(6), wait for about 2-5 minutes. Remove the
deposit from the «sprayer» (6) surface with a soft
brush.
If scale appeared on the float (5) as well, use the
detergent.
Notes: You can use descaling agents for kettles as
a cleaning agent.
Wipe the humidifier body with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
Do not immerse the humidifier body, the power
cord and the power plug into water or other
liquids. Provide that no liquid gets inside the
humidifier body.
Do not use solvents or abrasives to clean the
surface of the body and the water tank (2).
STORAGE
If you are not going to use the unit for a long time
and want to take it away for storage, make sure
that all its parts are dry, including the water tank
(2) and the «sprayer» (6).
Do not store the unit with water in the water
tank (2).
Keep the air humidifier away from children in a
dry, darkened and cool place.
