Thermoelectric Cooler SCM 3033BL SCM 3033RD OPERATION m Note Before starting your new cooling device for the first time you should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons please also refer to the Cleaning and maintenance chapter Energy saving tips Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against direct sunlight Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the device to keep cool Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary Do not leave the device lid open more than it is necessary Using the cooler Lift the cooler by the straps on the sides Straps can be set to optimal size It can be folded together to a compact size when empty m Note Like every cooling device your cooler must be properly ventilated so that any heat created can dissipate Otherwise proper functioning cannot be ensured Place the cooler on a firm base Connect the 12V connection cable into the cigarette lighter socket or a 12V socket in the vehicle Caution Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for cooling to the selected temperature Close top cover and zip fastener located along edge of top cover If you wish to switch the cooler off pull out connection cable Folding away the cool bag Lift up the base located on bottom and fold up to one side Tilt the top cover downwards the cooling device Then fold the empty cool bag flat and fasten it with the press studs tightening straps Connection to a cigarette lighter Note L M If you connect the device to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle remember that the ignition must be turned on to supply the device with power CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Caution Before cleaning the device remove the power plug of the power cord from the cigarette lighter socket Keep the device clean Regularly clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth Do not fold it away until it is completely dry Caution Do not clean the cooler under running water or in dishwasher Caution Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can damage the cooler EN 5 Copyright 2011 Fast CR a s Revision 02 2011
