COFFEE MAKER
Coffee maker is intended for making coffee and frothed
milk for cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate.

ATTENTION!
For additional protection it is reasonable to install a re-
sidual current device (RCD) with nominal operation cur-
rent not exceeding 30 mA into the mains of the kitchen;
to install RCD contact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the coffee maker, read this instruction
carefully and keep it for future reference.
Use the coffee maker according to its intended purpose
only, as it is stated in this instruction manual. Mishan-
dling the coffee maker can lead to its breakage and
cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
Always observe the main safety measures when using
electric appliances, namely:
• Before switching the coffee maker on for the first
time, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage specified on the unit body.
• The power cord is equipped with “euro plug”; plug
it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.
• To avoid risk of fire or electric shock do not use
adapters for connecting the coffee maker to the
mains.
• Place the unit on a flat stable surface away from
heat sources, moisture and direct sunlight.
• Do not switch the coffee maker on if the water tank
is empty.
• Before plugging the unit in make sure that the steam
supply knob is in the position «OFF».
• Use only the accessories supplied.
• Before switching the coffee maker on make sure
that all removable parts are installed properly.
• Do not touch parts of the coffee maker which get
hot during operation.
• Be careful to avoid burns by steam or hot water.
• Do not remove the filter holder during coffee maker
operation.
• Do not leave used coffee in the filter, remove it right
after making coffee.
• To avoid fire, electric shock or physical injuries do
not immerse the electric cord, the plug or the coffee
maker body into water or other liquids.
• Always switch the coffee maker off with the on/off
button and take the power plug out of the mains
socket immediately after that.
• When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but not the
cord.
• Always unplug the coffee maker, if you are not using
it and before cleaning.
• Let the coffee maker cool down completely before
cleaning it.
• Attention! Remove scale not less than once a
month. Troubles caused by appearance of the scale
on the coffee maker parts are not covered by war-
ranty.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the
table and touch hot surfaces and sharp edges of the
kitchen furniture.
• Do not use the coffee maker outdoors.
• Never leave the coffee maker in places with the
temperature below 0°C.
• For children safety reasons do not leave polyethyl-
ene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
• Attention! Do not allow children to play with poly-
ethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suf-
focation!
• Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
• Do not leave the operating unit unattended, be es-
pecially careful if children or disabled persons are
near the operating unit.
• This unit is not intended for usage by children or
disabled persons unless they are given all the nec-
essary and understandable instructions by a person
who is responsible for their safety on safety mea-
sures and information about danger that can be
caused by improper usage of the unit.
• Do not use the coffee maker if the power cord or the
plug is damaged, if the unit malfunctions or after the
unit was damaged.
• Do not repair the coffee maker by yourself; always
apply to an authorized service center for repair.
• To avoid damages, transport the unit in original
package only.
• Keep the unit out of reach of children.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
Before the first use
After unit transportation or storage at low tempera-
ture it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours
at room temperature before switching on.
– Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stickers and
package materials that can prevent unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages, do not use the it in case
of damages.
