Ice cream for diabetics requires modied
recipes.
Tips
The ice cream tastes best when freshly
prepared. It can be rened by adding fruits,
sauces, whipped cream, grated chocolate,
etc.
Alcoholic drinks or other ingredients con-
taining alcohol cannot be used to avour
the ice cream mixture as these will prevent
it from setting.
We would recommend chilling the glasses
or bowls before serving so that the ice
cream doesn't melt too quickly.
If ice cream is prepared ahead and kept in
the refrigerator, it should be taken out some
time before serving.
Processing times may deviate from those
specied in the recipes.
Possible causes:
Temperature of the ice cream mixture
Amount of ice cream mixture
Temperature of your freezer
