Getting Started
Thefollowingstepswillhelpyousetupthe802VLZ4
mixerquickly.
1. Makeallinitialconnectionswiththepower
switchesOFFonallequipment.Makesurethe
gainknobsandmainmixknobarefullydown
[counter-clockwise].
2. SetthelevelknobsandEQknobsatthecenter
[unity].
3. Connectthesignalsourcetotheinputof
channel 1.
4. Connectthemainoutputsofthe802VLZ4
totheinputsofpoweredspeakers[orto
theinputsofanamplierwhichshould
beconnectedtopassivespeakers].
5. Pushthe3-pinfemalesideofthepoweradaptor
securelyintotheconnectorontherearofthe
802VLZ4.PlugtheotherendintoanACoutlet
properlyconguredwiththecorrectvoltageas
indicatedontheACadaptor.
6. Lightsomeincense,man...
7. Turnthemixeron.
8. Turnthespeakerson.
9. Startthesignalsourceandraisethemainmix
knobupuntilaudiomaybeheardthroughthe
speakers.
10.Adjustthegaincontrolsothatthemeterdisplay
staysaround"0"[LevelSet]andnevergoes
higherthan"+6".
11.Ifyou’dliketoapplysomeEQ,dosonowand
