Верхний нож и
нижний нож
Сточившиеся и затупившиеся ножи могут
привести к сморщиванию ткани и шитью
неравномерных строчек.
• Если одиночная нить легко обрезается
передней и задней поверхностью ножа,
нож достаточно острый.
• Если ножи затупились, замените их,
пользуясь инструкцией на следующей
странице. Перед снятием ножей выньте
разъем сетевого шнура из розетки.
Отвод верхнего ножа
Если верхний нож не используется,
передвиньте рычаг верхнего ножа налево.
Верхняя часть верхнего ножа выступит над
игольной пластиной.
• Используйте выступающую часть верхнего
ножа в качестве направляющей для ткани.
Настройте желаемое положение
направляющей части верхнего ножа при
помощи регулятора ширины строчки.
ВНИМАНИЕ
Перемещайте рычаг ножа, только когда
игла опущена в нижнее положение.
Upper Knife and
Lower Knife
Worn or blunt knives will cause the material to
pucker or stitches to be uneven.
• If one strand of thread can be cut off in front of
or at the rear of the knife, the knife is sharp
enough.
• When the knives are blunt, replace them as
described on the next page. Be sure to unplug
the power supply cord from the wall outlet
before removing the knives.
Retracting upper knife
Move the knife lever to the left when the upper
knife is not being used.
The top part of the upper knife will stick out above
the needle plate.
• Use the projecting part of the upper knife as a
guide for the fabric.
Adjust the stitch width lever to move the upper
knife to the desired guide position.
CAUTION
Move the knife lever only while the needle
is at its lowest point.
