IF THE EQUIPMENT FAILS
PROTECTION AGAINST OTHER RISKS
Immediately wipe clean any oils
and other inammable (food) materials
splashed on the cooker. Otherwise, there
is re risk.
When preparing food by use of boil-
ing oil, never leave the cooker unat-
tended. The boiling oil may catch re
and bum the range hood. Fire risk!
And still if the boiling oil bursts into
ames, never attempt to extinguish it by
water! Extinguish the ames by a pan
lid or a thick wet cloth or similar object.
Never prepare any food with ame
under the range hood, (e.g. banana am-
bé). The ames may cause bum of the
range hood.
Be careful the ames from the burn-
er apparatus do not spread over under
the pan base.
In case of any equipment failure,
rst switch off the cooker, then the gas
cock and, nally, the fuse of the house. If
there is wire fuse, remove the fuse from
the holder completely. If the equipment
has not been installed and connected,
disconnect the power. When doing so,
do not hold and pull the cable to unplug
it. Hold the plug by your dry hand and
unplug it. Call the authorized service
center. Do not make the mains connec-
tion of the equipment before comple-
tion of the repair operation.
Repair operations may onlybe per-
formed by authorized and expert per-
sons. Seriou s risks may arise for the
person and equipment as a result of any
repair contrary to the rulesNever open
the body of the equipment.
Any repair under the warranty may
be performed only by the technical ser-
vice centers authorized by the manufac-
turing rm; otherwise, no warranty may
be claimed for any loss that arisessub-
sequently.
When using a socket near the cooker,
be careful the cable does not touch the
hot cooker, otherwise the cable insula-
tion may get damaged. Risk of electric
shock!
Always heat the food sufciently.
Any bacteria in the food may be killed
with sufcient heat and time.
Do not use plastic or aluminum folio
containers. High temperature may melt
them and there is also re risk!
If there is any drawer under the
cooker, do not store any spray tins, liq-
uids easy to iname or other combus-
tive materials. And the cutlery holder
in the drawer should be made of heat-
resistant material.
If the cooker is not used for an ex-
tended time, you should clean it thor-
oughly before using it again and have
its functions controlled by qualied ser-
vice personnel.
