Attention! Do not allow children to play with poly-
ethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suf-
focation!
This unit is not intended for usage by children.
Place the unit out of reach of children while it op-
erates or cools down.
Do not allow children to touch the unit body or
the power cord during operation of the unit.
The unit is not intended to be used by people
(including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities or by persons lacking experi-
ence or knowledge if they are not under the su-
pervision of a person who is responsible for their
safety or if they are not instructed by this person
on the usage of the unit.
Do not leave children unattended to avoid them
using the unit as a toy.
Do not use the unit if the coffee machine
body, the power cord or the power plug is
damaged.
In order to avoid liquid getting on the electrical
connector, in the event of any malfunction or
if the unit has been dropped, unplug the unit
from the mains and contact any authorized
service center.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be re-
placed by the manufacturer, a maintenance
service, or similar qualified personnel to avoid
potential injury.
To avoid potential injury, do not attempt to re-
pair the unit yourself. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected
or after it was dropped, unplug the unit from
the mains and apply to any authorized ser-
vice center at the contact addresses given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.
Transport the unit in the original package only.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of
children and disabled persons.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY. COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN
PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Read this manual before using the unit for the
first time and keep it for the entire time you use
the coffee machine.
After transportation or storage of the unit at
low temperature keep it for at least three hours
at room temperature before switching on.
Take the coffee machine out of its package and
remove the packaging materials.
Place it on a dry, flat and stable surface.
Check the integrity of the coffee machine, if
there is damage, do not use the unit.
Make sure that the operating voltage of the cof-
fee machine corresponds to the mains voltage.
Remove the drip tray (10) and make sure that
the used coffee grounds container (11 ) is in-
stalled. To remove the tray, lift it slightly and pull
it towards you. Insert the tray (10) back into the
lower part of the coffee machine body until it
stops and check that the metal grid of the tray is
installed correctly.
Open the right door (13) and make sure that the
brewing unit (12) is installed in the correct posi-
tion and is fixed, close the door.
Remove the water tank (2) and wash it with warm
water and a neutral detergent. To remove the
tank, open the lid (1) and pull it upwards (Fig. 1).
Fill the tank (2) with clean water to the maximum
level, put it back into the coffee machine and
close the lid (1).
Note: The water tank (2) can be filled only with
fresh, clean water of room temperature. Do not fill
it with hot or ice water and milk. Failure to comply
with this requirement may lead to cracks in the wa-
ter tank and damage to the unit.
ATTENTION!
When installing the water tank (2), the lid of the
coffee bean container (3) must be tightly closed.
Do not overfill the tank (2) to avoid water spilling
out when it is put back into the coffee machine.
If you use a suitable container to fill the tank with
water and do not remove the tank from the cof-
fee machine, make sure that the lid of the cof-
fee bean container (3) is tightly closed when
pouring water. Otherwise, if water accidentally
enters the coffee bean container, the coffee
grinder will be damaged.
Change the water in the water tank as often as
possible! Water that has been in the tank for
a long time may contain microorganisms and
pose a threat to your health.
Open the lid of the coffee bean container (3)
and wipe the inside of the container (5) with a
soft, slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
Check the position of the grinding degree con-
troller. Before the first use, the grinding de-
gree control knob (4) must be set to position 3
(Fig. 2).
Fill the container (5) with coffee beans (Fig. 3)
and close it tightly with the lid (3).
