4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 1 3 Precautions for Use Never place a heavy object weighing 3 kg 7 lbs or more on the copier or subject the copier to shocks Do not open the Front Cover or turn OFF the copier while the copier is making copies Insert the Power Plug all the way into the outlet Keep the outlet easily visible and accessible Do not place the copier or an installation table in front of the outlet Do not bring any magnetized object near the copier Never use flammable sprays near the copier Do not place a vase or vessel containing water on the copier Use care not to drop paper clips staples or other small pieces of metal into the copier Do not attempt to remove any Cover that is secured Provide good ventilation when making a large number of copies continuously With EP2131 make sure that the Semi automatic Document Handler is lowered while the copier is not being used When moving the copier be sure to hold it at the four places shown
