ALLATiON AND HANDLING Handling the EP3120 Never place heavy objects on the copier or subject it to shocks Insert the plug fully into the electrical outlet Do not remove or open any Covers white using the EP3120 Never unplug or turn OFF the EP3120 white it is in the copy mode When unplugging the power cord do not pull on the cord Grasp the plug and pull t out Never bring any magnetized object near the EP3120 Never use inflammable aerosols or liquids near the EP3120 Never place a vessel containing a liquid on the EP3120 Be careful not to drop paper clips or staples into the EP3120 If the EP3120 produces smoke becomes inordinately hot or produces abnormal noises turn it OFF unplug it and then call your local Minolta service representative dealer immediately Turn the EP3120 OFF at the end of the workday or during a power blackout Do not plug the copier into the same power outlet being used for other electrical equipment Request the assistance of your technical representative when transport ing the EP3120 over a long distance 4
