23 3 TURNING ON AND OFF THE COPIER 3 2 Pane Reset Key and Initial Copy Mode x Useful Tips Thts Key comes in handy for canceling all settings made at once To avoid miscopy why don t you make it a rule to depress the Panel Reset Key before selecting new settings for making a ccpy Depress the Panel Reset Key The Indicators on the control panel will indicate the initial copy mode The original present on the Original Glass will be automatically ejected if Duplexing Document Feeder AFR 4 has been used 3 3 Auto Reset Function and Initial Copy Mode If no Key on the control panel is depressed within about 60 seconds after a copy cycle has been completed or copying settings made the Auto Reset Function is activated to cause the copier to return to the initial copy mode automatically The Users Program can be used to prevent the Auto Reset Function from being activated under the above conditions See p 96 CHAPTER 2 Depression of the Panel Reset Key cancels all control panel settings previously made including the copy mode magnification ratio and the number of copies to be made resetting the copier to the initial copy mode
