The label under the power base shows the following identication data of the appliance:

Before connecting the appliance to the mains check that the voltage indicated on the label under the power

base matches with the local mains. Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface.



Do not place the appliance or power cord close to or on top of hot electric or gas cookers, or close to

a microwave oven.

Prevent the cord from protruding beyond the edge of the table or surface. Prevent children from grab-

bing the cord, in this way tipping over the appliance.

If the power cord is too long, wrap it under the power supply base (Fig. 3). The cable must not touch

the hot parts of the appliance.

Position the appliance so that children cannot reach the hot parts.



Remove the jug from the power supply base. Rotate the lid in the lter holder extraction position (20). Remove

the lter holder from the jug (Fig. 5). Fill the jug with fresh plain water to the desired level (Fig. 6). The level

should never be less than two cups (Fig. 7).



Turn the lid in position (X19). Remove the lid and extract the tea lter (Fig. 8). Place the desired amount of tea

in the lter. Place the tea lter in the lter holder. Place the lter holder into the jug. Close the lid and rotate it

to align the reference with the closing symbol (21). Place the jug on the power base (2).

Insert the plug into the socket, which must be earthed. You will hear two beeps. Press the infusion start/delete

button (11). The display shows the last temperature set. If you do not press any button, after 30 seconds the
