DA-681A Series Linux Software Configuration

Starting from a VGA Console
Connect the display monitor to the DA-681A-LX VGA connector, and then power it up by connecting it to the
power adaptor. It takes about 30 to 60 seconds for the system to boot up. Once the system is ready, a login
screen will appear on your monitor.
To log in, type the login name and password as requested. The default values are both moxa.

Connecting from an SSH Console
The DA-681A-LX computer supports an SSH Console to offer users with better security over the network
compared to Telnet.
Windows Users
Click on the link http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html to download PuTTY
(free software) to set up an SSH console for the DA-681A-LX in a Windows environment. The following screen
shows an example of the configuration that is required.
